Fayette County, Georgia – November 9, 2020 – Effective Friday, November 13, 2020 – Saturday, November 14, 2020, all operations at the Fayette County Transfer Station including trash, recycling, vegetative debris, and mulch loading will be closed while repairs and improvements are made to the facility. All operations of the Transfer Station will reopen on Monday, November 16, 2020. Please contact Fayette County at 770-320-6010 or solidwaste@fayettecountyga.gov for additional information.
Fayette County, Georgia, May 20, 2020 – Effective Saturday, May 23, 2020, Fayette County will resume mulch loading from the Transfer Station’s Yard Waste Area on First Manassas Mile Road. In an effort to reduce multiple contact points, the Landfill Operator will complete the contact information prior to loading for customers. Mulch is loaded on Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Citizens may also hand load during Transfer Station operating hours or at the stockpile on McDonough Road.

From State Hwy 54, turn onto Grady Ave. Take first right hand turn onto Bradford Square. Turn right at stop sign onto 1st Manassas Mile Rd. The Transfer Station and Recycling Center is approximately ½ mile on right.
Cash, check or credit cards are accepted at the gate. Repetitive customers may set up a credit account with Waste Management. Free mulch is available anytime for self-loading at both the Transfer Station and McDonough Road across from McCurry Park. Mulch is loaded free on Saturdays at the Transfer Station.
