What Requires a Demolition Permit?
Residential Demolition Permits ($200.00 fee):
- Mobile Home Demolition/Removal Form
- Demolition of Single-Family Residence.
- Demolition or partial demolition of a fire-damaged residence.
- Demolition of in-ground Swimming Pool.
- Partial Demolition/Reconstruction where structural elements are potentially compromised. (This will be determined during our Plan Review process.)
- Demolition of detached accessory structures, which include habitable space. (To ensure proper Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing terminations.)
- Double fees associated with a Stop Work Order posted for demolition before permit issuance shall be charged.
- If a homeowner requests inspections to ensure proper termination of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or gas services (in cases where the structure has been demolished without a permit), issue a stand-alone permit for these inspections, with a maximum fee of $100.00.
Commercial Demolition Permits ($200.00 fee):
- Demolition of Commercial Structure.
- Demolition or partial demolition of a commercial structure damaged by fire.
- Demolition of accessory structures, which include habitable space. (To ensure proper termination of Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing).
- Demolition of Commercial Swimming Pool.
- Partial Demolition/Reconstruction where structural elements are potentially compromised. (This will be determined during our Plan Review process.)
- Double fees associated with the Stop Work Order posted for demolition before the issuance of the demolition permit shall be assessed
