The Recreation Commission meeting for Tuesday, September 8, 2026 has been canceled due to lack of agenda items.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.25 (c) that the public Logic and Accuracy Testing on the Electronic Ballot Makers and Optical Scan Voting Equipment to be used in the November 2026 General Election will commence on the following date, time, and locations:

DATE:            Friday, September 11, 2026

TIME:            9:00 A.M.

PLACE:          Elections Warehouse

Testing will continue day to day until completion and is open to the public.

ROAD DEPARTMENT
TRANSFER STATION

ATTENTION: THE TRANSFER STATION WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2026, DUE TO NEEDED REPAIRS & ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2026, FOR THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY. IT WILL RE-OPEN ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026.
 

ROAD CLOSURES
UPDATE: Cross Creek Trail Lane Reduction Extended to October 1st

Please be advised that the single-lane traffic reduction on Cross Creek Trail (from 215 Stoneridge Way to 115 Cross Creek Trail) is now extended, with the road expected to fully reopen by October 1, 2026.

This delay is due to extensive rock removal required during the stormwater replacement project. Fayette County apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your patience as we work to protect our infrastructure and citizen safety.
