Fayette County Recycling Center is operated by the Waste Management on behalf of the county for the benefit and convenience of all county residents. A wide variety of recycling opportunities are provided to minimize individual cost and reduce consumption of landfill space. Residents can recycle common household items free of charge. Yard waste, and tires can be recycled for a minimum fee.
Household Recycling includes items such as newspaper, magazines, office paper, telephone books, mail, shopping catalogs, aluminum & steel cans, plastic drink bottles & milk jugs, washing detergent containers.
Vegetative Debris - grass, leaves, limbs and trunks only. Maximum size is 12 inches wide and 4 feet long. A nominal charge applies.
Tires - Fayette County accepts almost all tires. Any size tire up to large truck tires without rims are accepted.
