Water Main Repair Update – Peachtree Parkway and McIntosh Trail
The water main repair completed on January 8th at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and McIntosh Trail will require additional work. A valve box located in the roadway has shifted, resulting in a new leak. The turn lane and cart path from McIntosh Trail to Peachtree Parkway are closed until fully repaired.
Due to forecasted heavy rain throughout the weekend, Fayette County Water System (FCWS) decided to perform the additional repairs on Monday, January 12th. FCWS will continue to monitor the leak over the weekend.
If conditions worsen over the weekend, emergency repairs may be required, and temporary water service interruptions may occur.
We appreciate your patience as work continues to return the area to normal.

FCWS will never ask to come inside your home to collect a water sample or for any other reason. Our staff will always be in uniform and with an employee ID you can ask to see. We will always be in a marked FCWS vehicle or Fayette County vehicle.
