This is an identified detailed planning study project. Studies will be completed for the seven already identified projects and possibly other locations as needs change over the six-year SPLOST. It is expected that Federal-aid will be required, at least for the construction phase, to fully fund any one or more of the projects. The project may or may not advance beyond the study.

The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize capacity, operational, and safety projects along the corridor. The study has been completed and was approved by Fayette County BOC in December 2019.
