Code Enforcement

The Fayette County Code Enforcement officers are responsible for enforcing county ordinances adopted by the Fayette County Board of Commissioners. The primary duties are to preserve the quality of life, health and welfare of all Fayette County citizens.

Fire & Emergency Services

The Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services is dedicated to the Protection of Life, Property and the Environment through the delivery of Quality, Cost Effective and Professional Services to the citizens of Fayette County.


Marshal’s Office

Responsibilities of the Marshal's Office include the enforcement of fishing and boating safety regulations on county reservoirs. Other duties include county ordinance violations at county reservoirs and parks. Safety precautions on county-owned property ensures the safety of the public when visiting Water System facilities whether a park, lake, recreation facility or business office.


Sheriff’s Office

Responsibilities of the Sheriff's Office include ensuring the county's courthouses remain a safe and secure environment, general patrol of the county, maintaining the county jail, performing criminal investigations, and proactive traffic enforcement and occupant safety.
