Fayette County Parks are open from sunrise to sunset.
FROM ATLANTA:Traveling South on Interstate 75, exit on Hwy. 85 (Riverdale exit). Go approximately 15 miles and turn left on Hwy. 54 East (Fayette County Historic Courthouse will be on your left). Go to 2nd traffic light (approximately 2 miles) and turn right on McDonough Road. Take the 1st driveway on the left and the soccer fields will be directly in front, softball & football fields will be the 2nd driveway. The picnic pavilion is the 3rd driveway on the left.
FROM MACON:Traveling North on Interstate 75, exit on Hwy. 16 (Griffin exit). Go approximately 30 miles, and turn right on Hwy. 85 in Senoia. Go approximately 12 miles and turn right on Hwy. 54 East (Fayette County Historic Courthouse will be located at this intersection). Go to 2nd traffic light (approximately 2 miles) and turn right on McDonough Road. Take the 1st driveway on the left and the soccer fields will be directly in front, softball & football fields will be the 2nd driveway. The picnic pavilion is the 3rd driveway on the left.
FROM COLUMBUS:Traveling North on Interstate 85, exit on Hwy. 34 (Newnan exit). Turn right on Hwy. 34. Go approximately 15 miles until Hwy. 34 deadends to Hwy. 54. Turn left on Hwy. 54 East. Go approximately 17 miles and turn right on McDonough Road (located at 2nd red light past Fayette County Historic Courthouse). Take the 1st driveway on the left and the soccer fields will be directly in front, softball & football fields will be the 2nd driveway. The picnic pavilion is the 3rd driveway on the left.
The Fayette County Parks & Recreation Department has picnic facilities at Brooks, Kenwood, Kiwanis, McCurry, Lake Horton, and Lake McIntosh Parks which may be reserved based on availability. Any group, organization or individual must complete a contract for rental, sign a clean-up procedure form, and pay usage fees according to the county in which they live. Reservations are taken on a "first-come, first served" basis and may only be reserved once every six weeks in advance of the event. Reservations must be made in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office. Reservations for the weekend must be made by noon on Thursday of that week. Proof of residency will be required! Reservation time should include setup time and cleanup time.

All vehicles with a Non-Fayette County tag must display an annual pass for admission to Lake Horton, Lake McIntosh, and Lake Kedron. The annual pass fee is $300.00 per vehicle.
Refunds for the reservation fee will not be given; however, if your event is canceled due to inclement weather, the Parks & Recreation Department will reschedule your event based on availability.
