Complaints can be filed in multiple ways. You can come by the office at 140 w. Stonewall Ave, you can call the Code Enforcement hotline @ 770-305-5417 or you can email us at codeviolations@fayettecountyga.gov.
Yes, code enforcement complaints can be made anonymously. However, in some cases, the complainant’s identification and testimony in court may be necessary for successful prosecution. Additionally, Code Enforcement may need to follow up with the complainant if additional information is needed.
Only items designed to remain outside can be stored outside. I.E. Lawn furniture.
Fayette County ordinance states that grass/weeds canot exceed fourteen (14) inches in height in the front, sides, and rear of the property.
Fayette County does not limit the number of vehicles one can own. However, any vehicle stored outside must be operable and have a current tag/registration displayed.
