Department of Buiding Safety E-Permits

Reminder: All permits are reviewed by intake staff; please do not use the E-permit permit if your work exceeds the list below. Your application will be rejected and abandoned, delaying your permitting submission.

E-Permits permits are simple permits that do not require a plan review for any Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical work associated with any of the following work classes:

Residential

• HVAC Replacement
• Gasline- Reconnect
• Pool Liner
• Septic Lift Pump
• Service Reconnect/Evaluation
• Water Heater Replacement

Commercial

• Change of Occupancy Type
• Gasline-Reconnect
• HVAC Replacement
• Pool Liner
• Septic Lift Pump
• Service Reconnect/Evaluation
• Sign Banner
• T-pole
• Water Heater Replacement

Apply for E-Permits by logging into your SagesGov account, , clicking the Department of Building Safety tab, click the RES or COM E-Permit tab and follow the submission process.
