You schedule inspections by logging into your Sages account and click the inspection tab. All inspections requested before 4 p.m. will be scheduled for the next business day.
When a permit is issued all assigned inspections to the project can be found in your Sages permit under the inspection tab.
Inspections must be called in a certain order, so if you get a red alert, that means you are unable to have that inspection as it is too early and is not being performed in the required order.
For example, an ESC 1 inspection must be scheduled before you can schedule any slab inspections. Under the inspection tab, you would check the ESC 1 inspection and schedule that inspection. You will then request your needed inspection, like slab electric, then move forward with scheduling the inspection. This step needs to be repeated with all ESC inspections.
Rough inspections must be scheduled before the system allows a framing and anchor bolt inspection.
ESC 2 must be scheduled before you can place your framing and anchor bolt on for the next day’s inspection times.
ESC 3 must be scheduled and approved before you can request your final building inspection, so we recommend you perform this inspection with your final electrical, mechanical, and HVAC inspections.
Reminder: Check your holds tab to see what requirements may have been requested at the time the plan review was performed. If those items are not submitted in a timely fashion, it will delay your project from moving forward.
Please Note: Inspection cancellations must be submitted in Sages.gov before 9 a.m.
Do not leave requests on individual staff's voice mail.
