Starr’s Mill School Tunnel

This project is for construction of a multi-use path and tunnel under Redwine Road, immediately south of the Robinson Road intersection, and 1,500 feet of new path on the west side of Redwine Road and Robinson Road to connect with existing paths. The purpose of this project is to provide a permanent and safe route for pedestrians, bicyclists, and golf cart operators to cross Redwine Road and access the Starr’s Mill School Complex.

  • 10/16/2024: Notice to Proceed issued
  • 11/13/2024: Pre-Construction Conference
  • 03/14/2025: Water Main Relocation Complete
  • 5/09/2025: Road closure is scheduled to begin on 5/27/2025.
  • 6/13/2025: The intersection of Redwine Road and Robinson Road will be closed from 6/16/2025 - 6/20/2025. 
  • 6/20/2025: The intersection of Redwine Road and Robinson Road is now open.
