FF/EMT TRAINEE
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position for a certified professional.
Key Duties:

Emergency Response: Respond to a wide range of emergency and non-emergency calls, including fires, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents. This involves driving and operating various fire apparatus and performing search and rescue, extrication, and fire suppression duties.

Maintenance: Maintain vehicles, equipment, and station facilities by performing inspections, testing, cleaning, and general upkeep. This includes servicing fire hydrants and other essential equipment.

Documentation & Training: Accurately document all incidents, patient care, and training hours. You must also maintain your certifications through ongoing training and drills.

Community & Prevention: Participate in public education events, conduct pre-fire plans for businesses, and assist with other community relations activities.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with specialized training in Fire and EMS.

A valid Georgia driver's license.

Meet or be able to meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Firefighter 2 requirements and the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Act.

Possess and maintain a State of Georgia AEMT license and National Registry certification.
FF/ AEMT CERTIFIED
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. The main responsibilities involve firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS), and public assistance.
Key Duties:

Responding to all types of emergency calls, including fires, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and hazmat incidents.

Driving ambulances or other vehicles to transport personnel.

Performing search and rescue, extrication, and fire suppression duties.

Operating a variety of tools and equipment.

Maintaining all required fire and EMS certifications through continuous training and education.

Inspecting and maintaining vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues.

Documenting all incidents, patient care, and training hours.

Participating in public education events like station tours and CPR classes.
-
Performing fire hydrant maintenance.

Conducting pre-fire plans and inspections of local businesses.

Maintaining and cleaning the fire station.
Minimum Qualifications:

You must have a high school diploma or GED and specialized training in Fire and EMS.

A valid Georgia driver's license is required.

You must meet or be able to meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements for a Firefighter 2.

You must possess a State of Georgia EMT-Intermediate license and maintain National Registry certification.
FF/ PARAMEDIC CERTIFIED
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position for a licensed Paramedic who will serve as a medical team leader while also performing firefighting duties.
Key Duties:

Emergency Medical Care: Lead and coordinate medical care on scene, ensuring all medical protocols are followed. This includes assessing patients, providing advanced medical interventions (like administering drugs and using advanced equipment), and transporting patients to the most appropriate hospital.

Fire & Rescue: Respond to all types of emergencies, including fires, hazmat incidents, and natural disasters. You will also perform search and rescue, extrication, and fire suppression duties.

Leadership & Mentoring: Act as a preceptor and mentor for other medical team members, providing guidance and oversight.

Maintenance & Readiness: Drive and operate emergency vehicles, inspect and maintain all medical and firefighting equipment, and maintain the fire station facilities. You will also conduct pre-fire plans for businesses and maintain fire hydrants.

Documentation: Ensure all patient care reports and incident records are accurate and complete.
