Phase I of the Sheriff Training Facility prepared the site with grading, stormwater infrastructure, and a tactical driving course that also supplied fill dirt for the adjacent Fire Training project. Phase II will build out a full tactical driving course and mock village with paved streets, building fronts, lighting, and traffic signals to replicate real-world environments for officer training. Observation towers will be added for instructor oversight, and Armco barriers will improve safety on course curves. The project also includes security fencing to prevent wildlife and unauthorized access, as well as support components such as a fuel truck, track blower, secure storage, and space for maintaining track vehicles.
