Construction of a Parks and Recreation Multiuse Facility that will replace the existing Kiwanis Park facility located at 980 Redwine Road. The building will include sports courts, a walking/jogging track, a community kitchen, meeting and multipurpose rooms, offices, changing rooms, and support spaces. Centralizing these functions in one location will reduce long‑term infrastructure costs and allow shared use of parking, restrooms, and event spaces year‑round rather than only during seasonal activities. The facility will maximize limited recreation space and broaden programming for youth, adults, and seniors, supporting community well‑being. Revenue from recreation programs will help offset costs, and the space will accommodate classes, clubs, presentations, parties, and other community activities.
