The Environmental Management Department endeavors to promote and enhance the wellbeing of Fayette County and its citizens through carefully planned development and management of County resources. This objective is accomplished through:
- Development of Regulations that guide improvements throughout Fayette County to insure compliance with County goals and consistent implementation;
- Plan Review and Permitting of projects in unincorporated Fayette County, Brooks, and Woolsey;
- Inspections of permitted projects;
- Education through community projects on environmental issues.
