Notice is hereby given that Fayette County Elections & Registration will conduct a recount of ballots cast in the Republican Public Service Commission District 3 General Primary contest held on May 19, 2026, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-495.
Prior to the recount, Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Testing of the tabulation equipment to be used in the recount will be conducted on Monday, June 22, 2026.
The recount will begin on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and will continue each business day beginning at 9:00 a.m. until completion.
All recount activities will be conducted at the Fayette County Elections and Voter Registration Office, 175 Johnson Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214. The recount is open to authorized observers as provided by law and the public.
This notice pertains only to the Republican Public Service Commission District 3 General Primary contest conducted on May 19, 2026, and is separate from the June 16, 2026 General Primary and Nonpartisan General Election Runoff.
