Jeff Hill, Fire Chief

Chief Hill began as a volunteer firefighter with the department in 1994 and was hired as a career firefighter/EMT in March of 1995. In addition to serving as a Firefighter and Station Officer, Chief Hill has served as a Captain, a Commander, as a Battalion Chief in charge of the operations of a designated shift, and Deputy Chief of Fire and Emergency Services.
Chief Hill is certified through the National Professional Qualifications System as a Fire Instructor, Fire Inspector, and Fire Officer 4, and is recognized as a Certified Georgia Fire Chief from the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program and is recognized as a Chief Fire Officer by the Commission on Professional Credentialing. He is also a graduate of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police’s Law Enforcement Command College. He is licensed as a Paramedic through the State of Georgia and Nationally Registry of EMTs, and a Certified Emergency Manager through GEMA. He earned an Associate Degree in Paramedic Technology from Clayton State College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Georgia Southern University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University.
Chief Hill resides in the Senoia area with his wife, Holly, and three sons, Aiden, Noah, and Treavor.

Brian Davis, Assistant Chief Community Affairs / EMA Director

Assistant Chief Brian Davis joined the Fayette County Department of Fire & Emergency Services in 2002 and began serving in the role of Firefighter/EMT. He was later promoted to the position of Fire Apparatus Operator and subsequently obtained his paramedic license. He has previously served as a Lieutenant in the Bureau of Fire Prevention where his primary responsibilities included fire prevention and community education. Prior to his recent promotion, he worked as an Administrative Captain specializing in Emergency Management. Assistant Chief Davis also handles the collection and analysis of departmental geographic information systems (GIS) data.
Assistant Chief Davis holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia and he is a resident of the Town of Brooks where he serves as a member of the Brooks Town Council.

David Peace, Assistant Chief Fire/EMS Operations

Chief Peace began his career with Fayette County Fire in October of 1990 as a firefighter/EMT. He gradually moved up working for several years at each rank level: Firefighter/EMT, Paramedic, Company Officer Lieutenant, Shift Captain, and Battalion Chief. He now serves as the Assistant Chief of Fire and EMS Operations with responsibility for all Fire and EMS operations.
Chief Peace earned an Associate Degree in Paramedic Technology from Clayton State College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science, and a Master’s Degree in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University. He has completed the Local Government Management program from the University of Georgia. Additionally, he is a certified Fire Instructor Level 2, Fire Officer Level 4, Apparatus Operator, Aerial Apparatus Operator, a licensed Georgia State Paramedic, a Nationally Registered Paramedic, and is a Board-Certified Flight Paramedic and Critical Care Paramedic.

Scott Roberts, Assistant Chief EMS Director

Assistant Chief Roberts joined Fayette County Fire and Emergency Services in 1992. He served as a Firefighter/Paramedic before being promoted as a Lieutenant in Emergency Management in 2006. In 2008 he transferred to the Training Division where he was promoted to Captain in 2009 and lead the Division until he was promoted to Assistant Chief of Administration in 2022. His primary responsibilities include Fire and EMS training, EMS billing, policy and protocol development, infection control, HIPPA compliance, and departmental quality assurance. He also serves as the EMS Director and acts as liaison with other departments and services. Assistant Chief Roberts Earned an Associate Degree in Emergency Management from Central Georgia Technical College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety from Mercer University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Leadership from Mercer University.
