Lake Kedron Park

Open from 6:30 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. EST or 6:30 a.m. till 8:30 p.m. DST.  Amenities include boat ramp, boat docks, and playground area. 

All vehicles with a Non-Fayette County tag must display an annual pass for admission to Lake Horton, Lake McIntosh, and Lake Kedron. The annual pass fee is $300.00 per vehicle.

 
Lake Kedron, which is managed by the Fayette County Water System, is a 235-acre reservoir which stores approximately 1.0 billion gallons of water and will safely yield 3.5 MGD during drought conditions. All Fayette County residents are welcome to fish in Lake Kedron. Hydrocarbon or alcohol-fueled power boats or other vessels so powered are prohibited. No swimming, skiing, scuba diving or other bodily contact with the water is allowed

Parking passes

Parking passes can be obtained in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Parks & Recreation Administration Office located at 140 Stonewall Avenue West, Suite 208, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, credit cards, or debit cards.

Guidelines for Use

The following is prohibited at all county facilities.
  • Drugs/Controlled substance/ Alcoholic beverages
  • Smoking/Tobacco products/ Vape products
  • Camping or lodging
  • Damaging or defacing property
  • Erecting signs or banners
  • Personal grills or open fires
  • Vehicles on sidewalks or playground/pavilion
Written permit issued by the Parks and Recreation Department required in conjunction with the following: 

  • Live bands or sound amplification devices 
  • Temporary carnival rides, inflatables, amusement rides
  • Vending or fundraising and/or political rallies or events
  • Fireworks or Drones
