Fayette County Water System Announces Adjusted Business Hours Beginning January 1
The Fayette County Water System announces updated business hours effective January 1, 2026. The new hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 245 McDonough Road, Fayetteville.
The Water System remains dedicated to providing a safe, reliable, and abundant supply of high-quality drinking water to the community. With more than 700 miles of water distribution mains and over 33,000 service connections, the department continues its commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.
As a department of Fayette County government under the direction of the Fayette County Board of Commissioners, the Water System proudly serves Brooks, Peachtree City, Tyrone, Woolsey, parts of Fayetteville, and portions of unincorporated Fayette County.
